Occupational medicine is unique because during the process of treating an occupational injury or condition you also treat the client as a whole person. Many times the clients have not had medical care and I am the first provider they see. We are sometimes able to diagnose conditions they didn’t know they had, which provides opportunities for education and direction on how to seek proper care.”
