Life-Long Learner Earns Health Coach Certification
The National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC) has awarded the certification of health coach to Diane Palmer, RN, MPH. For Palmer, BarnesCare’s director of clinic operations, the certification is another step in her life-long journey of learning. “I pursued the certification for personal and professional reasons,” says Palmer. “I am passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and want to learn as much as I can. What I learned by studying for the certification will help me in both my personal and professional life.
“As Corporate Health Services focuses on the vision of being ‘Dedicated to a Healthy Workplace,’ I believe the NSHC health coaching certification will help me provide more value to clients and our employees,” says Palmer.
National Society of Health Coaches was founded in 2007 on the premise that health care professionals could positively affect patient/client compliance to improve outcomes and reduce costs by combining evidence-based practice interventions with the science of motivational interviewing. The NSHC Health Coach Certification is used within the scope of a professional's active license or credential to practice.
Congratulations Diane!
