BarnesCare provides educational and preventative health services for employers at its five clinic locations or at your workplace.

Health Risk Assessment
BarnesCare partners with Health Fitness Corporation to provide the INSIGHT health-risk assessment. The INSIGHT questionnaire measures critical health factors such as tobacco use, personal safety, nutrition, stress, exercise, exams and medical history to identify at-risk individuals and set them on a path to a better lifestyle. Participants receive a report and a confidential, aggregate statistics sheet is prepared for the employer. 

It is recommended that employers conduct the assessment in conjunction with health screenings.

Health Screenings
Promote good health among your employees with on-site screenings measuring five key indicators:

• Cholesterol
• Blood pressure
• Blood sugar
• Body mass index
• Smoking status

Results are provided within minutes from a simple finger stick. Interpretation of results is provided by a health care professional. This individual consultation provides appropriate recommendations for change or medical referrals when necessary. Educational materials also are included. Testing is for adults 18 and older.

Hepatitis Vaccines
BarnesCare provides safe and effective vaccines for Hepatitis A (HAV) and Hepatitis B (HBV). Hepatitis vaccines are available at BarnesCare’s five clinic locations or on-site at your company.

BarnesCare can help coordinate additional wellness services through BJC HealthCare. These include mobile mammography, prostate screening, personalized health coaching, smoking cessation, weight management, stress management, health education and behavioral health programs.
