Starting on May 21, 2014, all medical examiners issuing medical certificates for commercial motor vehicle drivers must be certified and listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. “I am happy to report that 100 percent of our BarnesCare medical staff has completed the NRCME certification requirements,” says Thomas Kibby, MD, MPH, FACOEM, CIME, BarnesCare chief medical officer. “We take our responsibility of certifying drivers seriously and we conduct each exam with respect for the individual and a commitment to public safety.
