The Campus Renewal Project is a long-term project to renew the academic medical center campus on Kingshighway Boulevard. The campus encompasses BJH and SLCH, along with Washington University School of Medicine. Over the next 10 years, the campus will be transformed in two phases through renovations and new construction.

BJC leaders have turned to BarnesCare to help keep construction workers healthy and on the job during the 10-year project. BarnesCare’s executive staff has been working closely with project planners, risk management specialists and contractors to implement a comprehensive program.

BarnesCare’s Midtown clinic will serve as the primary medical facility for post-offer testing, injury treatment and physical therapy.

A BarnesCare corporate health nurse will provide on-site injury triage and case management services. In addition, all new project workers will attend a safety orientation meeting held at BarnesCare.
