“Save Your Body” Classes
BarnesCare’s back safety program called “Save Your Body” teaches how to properly perform activities at work and at home, decrease overall stress on your entire body and protect your back from improper use.

The program begins with a quiz, followed by a 40-minute presentation that demonstrates how workers move and perform tasks that relate to their job functions. During the presentation, employees are asked to stand and stretch and will be checked for proper performance. The program concludes with a post-presentation quiz review and Q & A.

At the end of the program, employees have a better understanding of proper lifting techniques and how to achieve safer body mechanics while at home and at work.
